About This Event
Each winter The Alnwick Garden is lit up for its spectacular Winter Light Trail, a festive after-dark experience that winds through the gardens with thousands of twinkling lights, illuminated installations and seasonal displays. For 2026 the trail runs from 20 November 2026 through to 3 January 2027, with timed evening entry slots across the whole period. A single ticket covers two attractions, with entry including the illuminated Lilidorei play village alongside the main garden light trail. The experience is designed for all ages, making it a popular festive outing for families as well as couples and groups looking for a seasonal evening out in Northumberland. Tickets are sold for timed arrival slots and are priced across Saver, Standard and Premium dates to suit different budgets, so it is worth booking early for the most popular evenings in December. The representative December date shown here falls within a run that continues into the new year.
