About Brightwater Gallery
Brightwater Gallery sits in the heart of the market town of Alnwick at 10 Narrowgate, a short walk from Alnwick Castle. It is an independent contemporary art and craft gallery that exhibits and sells original art, handcrafted pieces and unique jewellery created by talented artists and makers, many of them working in the North East and Scotland. The changing displays feature painting, ceramics, glass and sculpture, with recent examples including coastal paintings, ceramics and glasswork, giving the gallery the feel of a treasure trove of quality original work.
Unusually for a gallery, Brightwater also incorporates its own delicatessen, offering a carefully selected range of high-quality artisan foods sourced both locally and internationally, so visitors can browse art and pick up fine foods in the same visit.
