This Cancer Research UK shop is the second of the charity's two branches in Alnwick, located at 65 Bondgate Within on the town's principal shopping street, a short walk from the market place. It is separate from the charity's Narrowgate branch, so the two are best treated as distinct shops. Run with the help of local volunteers, it is one of more than 600 Cancer Research UK shops nationwide, and every purchase helps fund research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The shop offers a constantly changing range of donated stock, from everyday practical items to more unusual one-off finds, with fresh pieces reaching the shelves daily. Typical stock includes clothing, accessories, homeware, linens, books, CDs and DVDs. Donations of pre-loved goods are welcomed in store during opening hours, and the charity highlights that each bag donated could be worth around £25 towards its work. Volunteering opportunities are regularly available for those who would like to support the shop.
