About Mind

The Mind charity shop stands at 46 Bondgate Within, on Alnwick's main shopping street among the town's other charity and independent retailers. It raises funds for Mind, the mental health charity, whose shops can be found in more than 160 communities across England and Wales. The shop is run in partnership with Pattons Community, the charity retail operator that manages a number of Mind branches, and it is staffed with the help of local volunteers.

The shop stocks a changing range of donated goods, typically including clothing, books, homeware and bric-a-brac, with proceeds supporting Mind's mental health work. Alongside the shop floor, donated items are also sold online through platforms such as eBay, Vinted, Depop and Discogs, helping unusual pieces reach a wider audience. The shop is generally open Monday to Saturday, and donations and new volunteers are both warmly welcomed. It can be contacted on 01665 798291.
