About The Range

This is a branch of The Range, the national home, garden and leisure superstore, located in the former Homebase unit at Willowburn Retail Park on Willowburn Avenue in Alnwick. The store opened on 10 July 2026, reoccupying a site that had stood empty since the Homebase closed in February 2025. Operated by CDS Superstores, parent company of The Range, it brings a large-format retailer back to the retail park serving Alnwick and the surrounding area.

The Alnwick store combines The Range's extensive, value-led product selection across homewares, furniture, garden, DIY, arts and crafts, pet and leisure ranges with an in-store Garden Centre by Homebase, drawing on Homebase's established home and garden expertise. The integrated garden centre offers plants and gardening products under one roof, making the store a convenient destination for household and outdoor shopping.
