About This Event
Ration Books to Moon Landings takes visitors on a nostalgic journey through life in the Alnwick district from 1950 to 1970, post-war austerity giving way to the space age. The exhibition gathers photographs, objects and memories, with hands-on family activities dotted throughout. Bailiffgate Museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-4pm; the exhibition runs until 30 August. A gentle, memory-jogging day out for all ages in the heart of Alnwick.
