Historian Dan Jones talks about his book Castles: A Fortified History of the World, in conversation with Katie Kennedy of The History Gossip, inside Alnwick Castle itself. Rare items from the castle archives are on display for the evening. Doors at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, entering by the Iron Railings on Castle Square. Tickets are £14, or £38 including the book.
