Mark Watson is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian, novelist and television favourite. A member of the Cambridge Footlights alongside Tim Key and Dan Stevens, Watson has built a devoted following over twenty years through Edinburgh Fringe sell-outs, appearances on Taskmaster and Mock the Week, cult Radio 4 shows, and most recently his acting role in the Netflix phenomenon Baby Reindeer. In Before It Overtakes Us, Watson explores humanity's uncertain future after a chance encounter with a stranger set him pondering life's big questions, alongside equally pressing matters such as the worst word he has ever said in public and the current state of the UK sausage industry. Expect a generous running time, plenty of tangents, and the warm, rambling brilliance that has made Watson one of the most reliably excellent live acts on the circuit.
