About Alnwick Playhouse
Alnwick Playhouse is the town's cultural hub — a combined arts centre, theatre, and cinema on Bondgate Without. The programme includes live theatre, comedy, music, dance, cinema screenings, and children's shows, drawing both touring national productions and local performers. The intimate auditorium creates a wonderful atmosphere for live performance, and the cinema shows a mix of mainstream releases and independent films. The Playhouse also runs a programme of workshops and community events, making it a vital part of Alnwick's cultural life. The box office is open Tuesday to Saturday.
