About Alnwick Town Juniors FC

Alnwick Town Juniors FC is the town's main grassroots junior football club, founded in 1978 and holding the FA's Accreditation quality mark for its coaching, safeguarding and player welfare. The club runs a large number of teams across the age groups, giving boys and girls from around the town and the surrounding rural villages a route into organised football, from their first mini-soccer sessions through to competitive age-group teams in the local junior leagues.

The club is based at Greensfield on the edge of Alnwick, where recent investment, including a grant from Northumberland Estates, has funded a floodlit 3G all-weather pitch, dugouts and a clubhouse used by members and the wider community. The all-weather surface keeps training and matches going through the Northumberland winter, and the club is run by volunteers who welcome enquiries from new players, parents and coaches.
