Beech Tree House is a purpose-built care home on Lisburn Terrace in the historic market town of Alnwick, close to Alnwick Castle and the Northumberland heritage coast. Operated by Prestwick Care, the modern facility is arranged across four floors served by two passenger lifts and is fully wheelchair accessible. En-suite bedrooms are fitted with specialist beds and bespoke furniture, and communal spaces include lounges with fireplaces, a cinema room, a café and tea room opening onto an outdoor terrace, quiet reading areas and an on-site hair salon, with landscaped gardens and several terraced outdoor areas.

Rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, the home provides residential, general nursing, dementia residential and dementia nursing care alongside respite stays. It also supports younger physically disabled adults and people with acquired brain injuries. Meals are prepared on site using locally sourced produce, and an activities coordinator arranges a regular programme for residents. On-site physiotherapy is available, and the home's design drew on social care research expertise, reflecting an emphasis on person-centred care.
