Best Academy of Dance

About Best Academy of Dance

Best Academy of Dance is an ISTD-registered dance school based in Alnwick, teaching classes at St James' United Reformed Church on Pottergate. The academy sets out to create a fun, friendly and encouraging atmosphere in a safe environment for pupils of all ages and levels, with an emphasis on building confidence and helping students discover the joy of dancing. Its central town-centre location makes it an accessible option for families across Alnwick and the surrounding area.

Teaching follows the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabus as its core curriculum, giving pupils a recognised, structured framework for their training. Alongside regular classes, the academy offers opportunities to take part in exams, demonstrations, workshops and performances, so dancers can progress and put their skills into practice. Class bookings are handled through an online scheduling portal, and the school publishes its terms, conditions and policies for prospective and current pupils.
