Caffè Tirreno
Authentic Italian restaurant opposite Alnwick Playhouse, known for its relaxed atmosphere and generous portions. No reservations, just turn up.
About Caffè Tirreno
Caffè Tirreno (also known as Ristorante Tirreno) is an authentic Italian restaurant situated opposite the Alnwick Playhouse near the centre of town. The menu covers a wide range of Italian classics, pasta, pizza, meat and fish dishes, all at reasonable prices with generous portions. One of its quirks is that reservations are not accepted, but table turnover is rapid so you rarely wait long. The relaxed, informal atmosphere makes it ideal for a pre-theatre meal or a casual evening out. A reliable and affordable option that has been a fixture of Alnwick's dining scene for years.
