John Bull Inn
Historic 1830s pub on Howick Street renowned for cask ale, Belgian beer, and an extensive whisky collection. Multiple-time CAMRA North Northumberland Pub of the Year winner.
About John Bull Inn
The John Bull Inn on Howick Street is a proper community pub, the kind of place where locals gather for a pint and a chat. It serves a good range of real ales and the atmosphere is warm, unpretentious, and welcoming. Dog-friendly and family-friendly, it is a refreshing antidote to the more tourist-oriented pubs in the town centre. If you want to experience Alnwick as the locals do, the John Bull is a great place to start.
