Alnwick Community Centre on Howling Lane is run by the Community@NE66 Charitable Trust, a registered charity established in 2017 that serves Alnwick and North Northumberland. The centre provides inclusive spaces where residents of all ages can learn, play and connect, and the charity has grown steadily since its foundation, increasing its annual turnover from around £53,000 to over £130,000 as it has expanded to meet rising community needs. A particular focus of its work is tackling social exclusion and rural deprivation, especially in Alnwick's Clayport Ward.

The centre hosts a wide range of activities and services, including youth work, family support, community development programmes and informal learning, alongside creative play, leisure-time sessions, community trips and holiday activities. Its aim is to help young people in particular develop their full capabilities within trauma-informed, resilience-building spaces.
